Adobe Photoshop is a powerful and versatile photo/graphics editing tool. This is enough for beginners to learn usage of tools, manipulation/editing of images, creating text effects, cropping, resizing and 3D features as well. Today we are listing Photoshop trainings especially for beginners with all basic techniques, tricks and tips of this stronger application. To be able to fully master and get full command on its tool takes a considerable amount of time. You can also share your experience with us for learners.

Getting Started with Photoshop

In this introductory chapter, which has been adapted from The Photoshop Anthology, 101 Web Design Tips, Tricks and Techniques, I’ll cover some of the basic tools and tasks that we’ll draw on in the later chapters. I’ll also share some of the shortcuts and time-savers that I use frequently. This chapter won’t give you an exhaustive review of the many things that Photoshop can do (where would it end!), but it should provide the bare bones that will help get beginners started. If you’re already familiar with the interface and can perform tasks like making selections, applying gradients, and working with layers, you might want to skip ahead to the next chapter.

Before Getting Started

We are living on the golden age of 3D technology, we can see art pieces, architectural models, biological simulations, fantasy creatures, futuristic machines, and almost realistic objects everywhere. Even though Photoshop can’t edit the model itself, it works absolutely well with textures, materials and lights allowing you to even paint directly over a surface using the Brush Tool. This is a very basic guide but some elemental knowledge of 3D geometry is needed.
